BrickBasis is designed to minimize unnecessary collection of your property-research data while still letting us understand how the public website is used.
Google Analytics
BrickBasis uses Google Analytics 4 to measure website usage such as page views, traffic sources, general engagement and selected product interactions. This helps us understand which parts of BrickBasis are useful and where the product needs improvement.
Saved properties and research
Current saved properties, buy-box settings, user-entered rent-roll information, user-entered comparable research and custom workflow labels are stored in your browser using local storage unless a feature explicitly tells you otherwise. Clearing browser storage can remove this information.
Property searches
When you analyze an address, BrickBasis sends the address to its server-side analysis endpoint so it can query public data sources. Do not enter confidential information into address or research fields.
Third-party sources
BrickBasis links to and retrieves information from public government and other public data sources. Those sources may have their own privacy policies and terms.
Contact and updates
This page will be updated as BrickBasis adds accounts, subscriptions, cloud-saved portfolios or other features that materially change how information is handled.
